Clinical Pilates at Re-Form is a highly personalized, therapeutic approach to movement designed to restore strength, improve mobility, and support long-term physical health. Led by licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants who are STOTT Pilates® trained or certified, each session is grounded in clinical expertise and precise, intentional movement.
Our approach goes beyond traditional Pilates—every exercise is selected with your body, your history, and your goals in mind.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, navigating postural imbalances, or simply wanting to move better and feel stronger, Clinical Pilates provides a safe, effective path forward. With one-on-one attention and evidence-based programming, we help you build strength from the inside out.
All Clinical Pilates sessions at Re-Form are led by licensed Physical Therapists or Physical Therapy Assistants who are trained in STOTT Pilates®, one of the most respected and research-driven Pilates methodologies in the world.
This training ensures every movement is biomechanically sound, adaptable, and tailored to your body. Unlike general fitness Pilates, Clinical Pilates integrates rehabilitation principles with Pilates technique—making it ideal for injury prevention, recovery, and long-term performance.
Clinical pilates and Pilates with a PT classes are similar to private Pilates sessions and classes with our certified instructors in that you will use pilates equipment, exercises and methodology. The difference is that these private sessions and classes are led by our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who provide a customized Pilates experience beneficial for clients who need modifications due to injuries, surgeries, or ongoing medical conditions. The advanced education, knowledge and clinical experience of physical therapists combined with Pilates equipment and exercises can make Pilates therapeutic, safe, and accessible for anyone managing neurological or musculoskeletal deficits.
Essential classes focus on foundational Pilates movements, proper form, breathing, and core engagement. These classes move at a supportive pace and emphasize learning the basics.
Best for beginners, clients returning after time away, and anyone wanting to refine fundamentals.
Intermediate classes build on foundational movements and introduce more complex exercises, increased strength demands, and greater coordination.
Best for clients with prior Pilates experience and those comfortable with equipment and Pilates terminology.
Intermediate mat classes focus on bodyweight Pilates exercises performed primarily on the mat. These classes require strong core control, coordination, and familiarity with Pilates principles.
Best for experienced Pilates clients and those looking for a challenging, equipment-free workout.
These classes emphasize core strength while still supporting full-body stability and proper movement mechanics.
Best for clients wanting targeted core work and those familiar with Pilates fundamentals.
These classes are led by licensed physical therapists and focus on safe, intentional movement with a strong emphasis on form and injury awareness.
Ideal for beginners wanting extra guidance, clients transitioning from physical therapy, and those seeking added confidence and education.
This equipment-based class is designed specifically for men, focusing on strength, mobility, and functional movement patterns.
Ideal for men new to Pilates, athletes or active individuals, and those looking to improve flexibility and core strength.
Flexion-free classes modify traditional Pilates movements to limit spinal flexion while still building strength and stability.
Best for clients with back concerns, hose needing modified movement patterns, and anyone cleared for Pilates but avoiding flexion.
Clinical Pilates is appropriate for a wide range of individuals and goals.
This service is ideal for those recovering from injury or surgery, managing back, neck, or joint pain, navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, improving posture, or seeking a smarter way to build strength and stability. It’s also an excellent option for athletes and active individuals who want to move more efficiently and reduce injury risk.
